If your homepage's source code is unsafe, not even the safest server will help. If even one of these add-ons is unsafe and outdated, there is no need for usernames or passwords in order to insert a dangerous code in your website, steal data or use your domain for spreading spam or computer viruses.
2. You must use a safe password at all times. Your password must not be easy. This applies to the passwords of your e-mail account, FTP and homepage's management interfaces.
3. Keep your computer free from viruses. Customers' computers are often the first place that leaks passwords. Keep your antivirus programmes and databases updated, do not visit suspicious websites and do not open unknown hyperlinks or suspicious attachments in e-mails.
